PREFACE ”I speak my mind, I write my soul.” Anna Jane 2/11/99 “A Leap of Faith,” takes you on three journeys:
Journey One
“Love, Hate and Mental Debate” represents the period of a young girl, from her early twenties onwards, discovering the world around her that challenged her own inner world of love, hate and mental debate. One day, she realises that she holds her own key to the window of her soul and there in begins her journey inwards to discover self- love.
Journey Two
“A Leap of Faith.” takes you forward presenting the journey of the young girl as she discovers the life within her belly and more stoically the final lesson it brought her towards her own Leap of Faith. Transitioning from the depths of the debating mind, deep down into the depths of the yearning soul, the child matures into a woman as she discovers the true essence of the Power of Love.
Journey Three
“ Destiny Calling from the Pits of Thy Soul” commences with the transition from matters of the heart and a leap of faith into “the pits of the soul” unleashing past karma through the cycle of grief, renouncing the ego, and cleansing the maturing soul.
As her soul begins to breathe, her wisdom begins to sound. Strong inner messages teach her soul how to branch out with her own angelic wings- wings with which each and every one of us can learn to soar. On the wings of an angel, destiny is now calling.
* * * Since 1995, at the age of 22years, I have written in prose. Each prose is an expression of a sentiment I was feeling at the time from within some part of my soul, my being. It reflects my spirit at that time, my love, my hate, my mental debate, my questions, my yearnings for love, my battle within, my view of the world, its pain, it’s suffering. Each prose was dated at the time of its writing and is presented in order, hence my story writes itself as my journey in life unfolds.
In the world we live in today, we spend much of the time trying to understand our emotions. Some of us shut them out to remain in a mental comfort zone. Yet, sometimes we are called in to face them, just as I was, and from facing and embracing this energy, I am now feeling as though I have finally arrived as I sitting am on top of the world, down in the pits of my soul….
The Main Characters
Journey One, “Love, Hate and Mental Debate”sets the scene presenting three main characters:
1. Myself- the heart broken girl/ woman seeking self-love
2. The Ex- who represents the cold hearted ego that broke her heart
3. New love- who challenges her fear of love, hate and mental debate
This journey starts with the young girl making a pact with the universe, submerging herself in alcohol to escape her inner torment. Broken hearted, one year she gives herself, that if true love and life did not become easier, the lord was to take her from her wake. She escapes to Paris for solitude, she writes about romanticism, love, fear….self-love. During the following year, she swings between love, hate and mental debate, sometimes tasting the light within only for her fear to come and take it away. She is not strong enough and succumbs to mental dis-ease, mental debate, insomnia.
One night, drunk on tequila a light from within her belly gives her warmth. She is pregnant. Still challenged in facing single motherhood, she continues forth but once again succumbs to mental debate, unable to find a smooth path for her soul to step onto.
Almost exactly one year following her pact with the universe, her unborn child is diagnosed with a heart defect beyond repair. She gives birth in her sixth month, releasing her own broken heart along with her sons. Her mind is finally silent……completely. The girl finally begins to mature into a woman as she moves into her heart space and embarks on her own Leap of Faith. She finally steps onto her soul path as her Destiny is calling her from the pits of her soul.
Introduction: MY BELIEFS TODAY 2005 The Future, Our Life Lessons, Healing, The Inner Child, Energy, Coincidences &Taking a Leap of Faith
I believe that collectively, the mass consciousness of mankind determines the quality of our future on Earth. I believe that our Lords soul of the spiritual realm bleeds as does our Earths’ core, the soul of Mother Earth, and that our Lord is calling on us to stand in our centre of power, which, is in our hearts. From here, we can begin to develop a sense of knowing, our calling, and our direction in life. This in itself requires courage, healing, a Leap of Faith and in the process, we confront, give thanks to and let go of the fear that manifested and served us at the beginning of our journey.
I believe we alone choose our own fate and as the collective consciousness of mankind today continues to believe that we are addressing the concerns of the world, in the short time we live on Earth, we are forgetting to commence first with ourselves and to simply give our love and compassion to our own neighbour and to take care of Mother Nature that lies at our own doorstep. Instead, we complicate, we stay muddled in our minds or a false sense of security, we destroy, we justify and we ignore our neighbour. With discipline, faith, choice and will, I believe we can start to make a difference both individually for the self and Mankind and collectively for Mother Earth.
Heart Breaker Romanticism, The Lovers Paris, July 2004
He looks at her, observes her silhouette, her long, dark, shiny hair and luscious lips. He wants to grab her, hold her, stroke her, but fear holds him back. He feels, too much and decides to shut it all out and fight her, pick on her, argue with her, tormenting her heart. He does not know his words, cutting ice, pierce her soul. She tries to block, stand tall, not let his pain be hers’, yet, she loves him and with love comes pain.
They both escape, leaving the other in a whirlwind of disturbed dust, spinning around. She goes for a walk with her music to soothe her soul, along the waterfront, under the sunset, occasionally looking up into natures beauty, out of the depths of despair. He… submerges himself in work, in another woman.
Her heart breaks.
Like a river flowing in a storm, she cries and cries and cries until she is spent, exhausted. She could cry forever.
A lesson in life. Love yourself. This I have never done. How can you love without self-love? I must respect my feelings, stay with them and let the river flow. What will be will be.
My writing touches my soul. It feels good to be alive Love Anna Jane x
