This is the story of a meeting between two very different animals – a leopard and a mouse.

Imagine for a moment that you are a very hungry mouse and you happen to find some food. Having just put a small piece of meat into your mouth, you are suddenly staring at the front legs of a giant creature. This is the situation in which Thomas finds himself one sunny day. He has every reason to be fearful, but this is a mouse who feels he can trust his inner knowing. This is a mouse who believes he will find all that he needs. This is a mouse who is not afraid to be open to all life has to offer.

And what about the owner of the giant legs? She is a huge and beautiful leopard. She has never seen a mouse before and she certainly has never seen one eating her dinner. What develops from this chance encounter is not what you might think. Sasha the leopard is a strong and powerful animal. She understands that she has a choice about what to do. She can help or hurt the tiny mouse. Is Thomas in danger, or will he discover that what he believes really comes true?

Sasha looked again at Thomas, who had not moved and said,
“You may have the rest of the meat.”
Thomas took his time eating the scraps. Now it was Sasha’s turn to watch Thomas. She stepped back, shaking her head. She sensed a calm and strong energy like her own. But could it really be coming from the mouse’s little body?
