Wisdom of the World involves mythology and the prophecies of the Hopi, Nostradamus and the Bible-Many similarities in cultures were apparent through research and helped create the theme. It begins with "Cloud Watcher" a young Cherokee boy and his grandfather have profound visions of the future that parallel with the book of Revelation and Mayan Prophecies. The chapters reveal how the prophecies are fulfilled. Various theories concerning 2012 are included and are part of the adventure. It is very unique and thought provoking. Elements from the imagination and history are woven together in a tapestry with common threads.

‘Magick It Up’ is a hubbly bubbly metaphysical tale with beautiful illustrations. I believe it is on the cutting edge of new thought for the younger generation. It promotes empowerment, hope, and a sense of wonder, with a little history and folk lore stirred into the bubbling brew. The story is based in everyday reality and departs into other dimensions but always returns safely to the present day. The two main characters Alex, aged 11, and his Grandmother, Nonni, are whisked unexpectedly and unconventionally through various dimensions; at one time travelling on the backs of bats from crystal caves; experiencing the thrill of being close to and observing wild animals in Africa; seeing fairies in the midst of an English Forest and participating in the wonders of Australia, natural and man made, proving that wishes really can be manifested. It is alchemy in the mental rather than the metal sense, changing situations by thought and intent. ‘Magick It Up’ will take you on a journey to places that some might only dream of, inspiring both young and old. Alex and Nonni’s loving bond shines through as they share these magickal adventures. This bond between generations and the handing down of wisdom are an important message for today’s disenchanted youth living in a troubled World.

In Book One, Princess Esmeralda finds out who she is. She realizes she is special, she is loved, and her magical garden is full of colour and joy. In continuing the story into Book Two, Esmeralda sees the seasons change and learns from the fairies and enchanted seahorse how in her magical garden, life moves in a circle, from season to season and back again. They share with Esmeralda the secret of how everything in nature, including ourselves, has a special gift. It is now time for us to share with everything else, our gift of the colour we hold within us. For that is the circle, as we receive from others and gift of ourselves, the circle comes back to us again and we have everything we need. “Remember the colours of the rainbow?” they asked in unison. “What do you feel when you think of yellow?” asked the yellow fairy. “I feel so happy,” said Esmeralda. “I remember the corn I ate, the sweetness making me smile, I remember the peaches and the juice running down my chin.” She giggled. “What do you feel when you think of the rainbow red?” asked the red fairy. “I feel warm and bubbly inside, I remember the juicy strawberries, so sweet and warm from the sun, I remember the tomatoes, the tingling taste on my tongue,” laughed Esmeralda. “What do you feel when you think of rainbow blue?” asked the blue fairy. “I feel the sparkling coolness of the water, the gentleness of the summer sky,” sighed Esmeralda. “What do you feel when you think of the beautiful green?” asked the green fairy. “Oh, I feel so loved by all my garden as it surrounds me and the tickling softness of the grass beneath my feet,” smiled Esmeralda. “Now what do you feel when you think of the pink, the purple and indigo colours of the rainbow?” chorused the sprites. “It feels like the blanket of the evening sky as it is turning from day to night, it helps me feel I am always taken care of and protected,” whispered Esmeralda wrapping her arms around herself.

“Princess Esmeralda” is a magical story of a young girl, with the help of an enchanted seahorse, who finds out who she truly is and discovers her world is full of colour and love. It is a story for adults and parents to share with their children in a space of love and caring, so they may feel Esmeralda’s story as their own. It is to let all children know how important it is to believe in who they are, to accept themselves and others, and also to understand that if they take care of their world, then they in turn will have everything they need to nourish and care for them. It is a reminder for all of us to see the world again in awe, through a child’s eyes, to see the colour, the magic and the joy. As guardians of this planet we are here to nurture all things with love, especially our children, to ensure our thoughts and actions cannot harm another living thing. Stories through all time have held an energy in the words that are passed down through generations. I want my stories to help both adults and children feel good about who they are and form loving caring beliefs about themselves and one another.
